Inclusion Conor Style - One of my favorite school pictures of Conor - picking apples. He was not happy in the allegedly "Inclusive" classroom where he was overwhelmed and bit his hands daily. He was accommodated & moved to a separate, quieter area with an ABA/autism trained aide & the biting stopped. Conor participated in many activities with other students, including this apple picking fun, over the years and loved school until aged out at 21. He was not stigmatized he was accommodated.
